Vivo V60e Price Drop – Launching in India on October 7: 200MP Camera, 6,500mAh Battery, and More Under ₹40,000!

vivo is gearing up to launch its much-hyped vivo V60e in India, and the official date is finally out. The smartphone will make its India debut on October 7 at 12 PM, and it’s already creating buzz for packing flagship-level features at a mid-range price.

Color Options and Design

The vivo V60e will hit the market in two striking shades — Elite Purple and Noble Gold. The phone also features a quad-curved display with slim bezels, giving it a sleek and premium look.

Power and Durability

One of the biggest highlights of the V60e is its massive 6,500mAh battery paired with 90W fast charging, ensuring users get both long-lasting performance and quick top-ups. Adding to its toughness, the phone comes with IP68/IP69 certification, making it resistant to dust, water, and accidental splashes.

Camera Features

The showstopper, however, is the 200MP OIS primary camera, a first for vivo’s V-series. It’s supported by an 8MP ultrawide lens and an Aura Light flash. On the front, you get a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus, designed for sharp portraits and crystal-clear video calls. The rear camera setup also supports 30x digital zoom.

For Indian users, vivo is introducing an exclusive AI Festival Portrait mode, alongside AI Four-Season Portrait and AI Image Expander, all aimed at enhancing mobile photography experiences.

Software and Updates

The vivo V60e will run on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15, and it comes with Gemini AI features built-in. Buyers will also get three years of Android OS updates and five years of security patches, making it a future-proof option.

Pricing and Availability

The vivo V60e is expected to launch under ₹40,000 (around $450) in India, which puts it directly in competition with popular mid-premium smartphones.

Fun Fact

Interestingly, vivo also announced the Y500 Pro with a 200MP camera in China today. The V60e could very well be a rebranded version of that device for the Indian market.
