Introduction
Realme is back with the Realme 10 Pro, the successor to the much-debated Realme 9 Pro series. The company seems to be on a mission to fix past mistakes and win back fans. At first glance, the 10 Pro might look like a minor update, but a closer look shows some meaningful upgrades — a fresh new design, a bigger and smoother display, and a flagship-level 108MP main camera shared with the pricier Realme 10 Pro+.
That’s a major improvement over the 64MP camera on last year’s model, and it could be the biggest reason to give this phone a second look.

Design
Realme has gone for a complete design overhaul this time. Gone are the curves — the 10 Pro now flaunts flat edges and sharp lines, following the latest smartphone trend. It’s also lighter and thinner despite having a bigger 6.72-inch display. The phone measures 8.1mm thick and weighs just 190 grams, making it one of the lightest large-screen devices around.
The back panel has a matte, brushed finish, though it’s clearly plastic. Still, it feels good in the hand, and the Nebula Blue variant we tested catches light beautifully with shifting hues. The two large rear camera rings add character to the otherwise simple back design.
Display
The Realme 10 Pro packs a 6.72-inch IPS LCD panel with Full-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. There’s no HDR support due to the LCD tech, but you do get Widevine L1 certification for HD streaming on Netflix.
While it can’t compete with the deep blacks and contrast of OLED panels, this is still one of the better LCDs in its price range. Realme claims 680 nits of peak brightness, and our tests confirmed a respectable 619 nits in auto mode. Visibility in bright outdoor conditions is good enough, and color accuracy is decent.
Battery Life
Battery life is a strong point once again. With its 5,000mAh cell and efficient Snapdragon 695 chip, the Realme 10 Pro delivers solid endurance close to that of the Realme 9 Pro. You can easily expect a full day of mixed use with some juice to spare.
However, video playback performance has dipped slightly compared to last year’s model — though it’s still better than average for this segment.
Charging Speed
Realme has kept its 33W DartCharge fast-charging system, and the results are consistent. The included charger juices the phone from 0 to 54% in 30 minutes, and a full charge takes around 1 hour and 12 minutes. That’s not the fastest in class, but still very reliable for daily use.
Software
The Realme 10 Pro ships with Android 13 and Realme UI 4.0 — one of the first mid-range phones to do so. While it doesn’t reinvent the interface, it brings a refreshed Aquamorphic design, smoother animations, and new widgets.
Customization is another highlight. You can change icons, fonts, colors, and layouts easily through the Style & Wallpapers section. It’s clean, colorful, and user-friendly — a nice evolution from Realme UI 3.0.
Performance
Under the hood, the Realme 10 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, built on a 6nm process. It’s the same chip as before but remains efficient and reliable for daily use. You won’t face issues with multitasking, social media, or light gaming.
However, the Snapdragon 695 has one major limitation — no 4K video recording support. This remains a disappointment for content creators who like shooting high-resolution videos.
Camera
The star of the show is the 108MP main camera, a big leap from the 9 Pro’s 64MP shooter. The sensor is large (1/1.67″) and captures detailed, well-balanced images in good light. The colors are lively but not overly processed, and dynamic range is solid.
Interestingly, Realme dropped the ultrawide and macro lenses, leaving only the main sensor and a 2MP depth camera. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing — those low-quality extra cameras rarely added real value. Instead, Realme focused on improving the main sensor, which pays off.
The 16MP selfie camera produces clear and vibrant photos, though it struggles a bit in low light.
Verdict
The Realme 10 Pro is a strong mid-range contender that gets many things right — a sharp 120Hz display, a stylish lightweight design, excellent battery life, and a genuinely impressive 108MP main camera.
However, it’s not without flaws. The lack of 4K video, an OLED panel, and only modest performance upgrades mean it doesn’t stand out as much as it could have. Competing phones now offer OLED screens, faster charging, and sometimes better cameras for similar prices.
That said, the Realme 10 Pro will likely become a much better deal once prices drop. For now, it’s a solid, well-rounded phone that does almost everything right — just not exceptionally.
