iQOO 15 Pro Flagship Smartphone Rumors — Set to Launch With Wireless Charging in India — But You May Have to Pay More

iQOO 15 Pro Flagship Smartphone Rumors – iQOO is gearing up to launch its next big flagship, the iQOO 15, in India, and it looks like the company is packing in some serious upgrades this time. The phone is expected to debut by November, and now, iQOO has officially confirmed one of its most talked-about features — wireless charging support. This is something last year’s iQOO 13 didn’t offer, making the new model a big step up.

But there’s a catch. A recent leak suggests that the iQOO 15 could cost more than its predecessor at launch.

iQOO 15: Wireless Charging and New Battery Tech

In a Weibo post, iQOO confirmed that the iQOO 15 will support wireless charging, powered by a new “large” seven-cell Blue Ocean battery. Product Manager Galant V revealed that this battery will work with the company’s Global Direct Drive Power Supply 2.0 technology.

In simple terms, this tech allows users to charge the phone even while gaming, streaming, or navigating, without stressing out the battery. The company says it will also help extend battery life — something every heavy smartphone user will appreciate.

For comparison, last year’s iQOO 13 came with a massive 6,000mAh battery and 120W fast wired charging, but no wireless charging option.

Possible Price Hike in India

According to tipster Chaitanya (@ChaitanyaOnTech), the iQOO 15 could launch in India priced between ₹60,000 and ₹65,000. If true, this means a bump of around ₹5,000 compared to the iQOO 13, which arrived in December 2024 at ₹54,999 for the base 12GB + 256GB model.

iQOO 15 Specifications (Leaked)

Reports suggest that the iQOO 15 will feature a massive 6.85-inch Samsung 2K display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it might run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, paired with iQOO’s custom Q3 chip for better performance.

The battery is expected to be a 7,000mAh unit with support for 100W wired charging, making it one of the biggest batteries in a flagship phone. On the camera front, leaks point to a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens for zoom shots.

Early Verdict

If the leaks are accurate, the iQOO 15 is shaping up to be one of the most powerful flagships of 2025, with standout battery performance and wireless charging finally making its way to the lineup. The only downside? You might have to shell out a little extra compared to last year’s model.
